After thirty years signalling discretion through anonymity, Halcyon needed a wordmark and digital home that could speak to the next generation of wealth without alienating the first.
The challenge
Halcyon's heritage is everything — and nothing on the page. The brief was to translate three decades of trust into a contemporary identity that the founding partners would still hang in their lobby and that a 32-year-old founder would forward to her board.
Our approach
We anchored the identity around an etched serif wordmark, a single bronze accent and a typographic rhythm that prioritised pacing over volume. The investor portal — built headless on a CMS the partners can edit — uses the same restraint to deliver portfolio analytics that read like a private letter.
